  • She graduated college at 18, from West Virginia University.
  • She received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, by Barack Obama.
  • She was a Freshman in High School at the age of 10.
  • She wrote “Reaching for the Moon” in 2019.
  • Barbie created a doll of her.
  • She was played by Taraji P. Henson, in the film “Hidden Figures”.
  • NASA has a facility named after her.
