Michelle Obama is the previous FLOTUS.(First Lady Of The United States). Michelle is married to President Barack Obama. She has written a whole slew of books and she has a documentary on Netflix called “Becoming”. You might know about her. Today I will be telling you what you might NOT know about her. She won a grammy for Best Spoken Word Album.

  • She and her brother, Craig were born 21 months apart.
  • She learned how to read and write by 4.
  • She graduated salutatorian from Princeton. Same as my good friend Sarah Katz.
  • She and Barack spent lots of their extra time volunteering at soup kitchens.
  • She started the “Let’s Move” campaign to help lower the percentage of child obesity in the United States.
  • She made it mandatory to serve only organic and healthy foods in the White House.
  • She left working in law to work in public service. Harvard Law School grad.
  • Her favorite hobby is working out.
  • Her nickname is “Miche”.
  • She has Barack clean the dishes.
  • She visited Africa for a week to focus on children’s health and well-being, education and leadership.
