Sacagawea was a Native-American that helped Lewis and Clarke on their expedition of the United States. Read more about her here!
– At the time of helping Lewis and Clarke, she had her baby, she carried her son on her back through out the whole trip
– Clark nicknamed Sacagawea “Janey” and her son, Jean Baptiste “Pomp”/”Pompy”
– One time, she gave away her beaded belt for Lewis and Clark, so that they could get a fur coat for Thomas Jefferson
– Years after the expedition, she gave birth to a daughter, Lizette
